About Karl’s

Karl’s for Kids has been family owned and operated since 1934, and is located at 724 Chestnut Street in historic Philadelphia.  We specialize in furniture for children: from nursery to college, Karl’s has everything you need from bedding to room design accessories.

Our philosophy has always been to provide the best possible service, selection and discounted prices every day.  Since day one, Karl’s has been providing the highest quality children’s furniture to thousands of families throughout eastern Pennsylvania and central and southern New Jersey.  We carry some of the best brand names in the industry to ensure that you get the value you deserve for your hard-earned money.

When you buy from us, our dedicated sales team knows what you need for your new baby.  The service we offer here at Karl’s is second to none—you won’t find the same level of service from any of our competitors.  From the perusing our selection in store to delivery and set up of your furniture, know that our attention to detail is what makes us so exceptional.

Stop in to visit our 4 level showroom!  Whether you are looking for that one special piece to complete a nursery for a new baby or a great bunk bed for your teen—and everything in between—there’s something for everyone.  We have the perfect thing for you.  Karl’s has over 50 room settings of baby furniture on display and over 25 room settings for kids and teenage furniture on display. Other stores show you catalogs, we actually display the furniture so you can see it in person.
